- Transfer from Another Bargaining Unit. Employees who are granted a transfer to an open position in Turlock in lieu of a layoff or in the event of an ordinary transfer to an open position, shall retain his/her hire date seniority with the company for benefit purposes only. The said employee will start at the bottom of the Associations seniority list for shift bidding and/or layoff purposes.
