Common use of Transfer of Service Announcement Clause in Contracts

Transfer of Service Announcement. Where an End User changes service from one Party to the other Party and the End User does not retain his or her original telephone number, the Party formerly providing service to the End User will provide a transfer of service announcement, where transfer of service announcement capability is available, on the vacated telephone number. This announcement will provide details regarding the new number that must be dialed to reach this End User. The service announcement will be provided, where available, by the Party formerly providing service to the extent and at the price specified in the applicable Frontier tariff.
