Common use of Transfer to a Canadian Dollar Fund Clause in Contracts

Transfer to a Canadian Dollar Fund. If your registered U.S. dollar account is either a registered retirement savings plan for your spouse or common law partner or a locked-in account, the assets therein can only be transferred to a fund in Canadian dollars. In the event of such a transfer, amounts in your U.S. dollar account are converted into Canadian dollars, using the applicable rate on the date of the transfer.
