Common use of Transferring the Agreement Clause in Contracts

Transferring the Agreement. You cannot transfer the Agreement to another person without our prior written consent. We will need your prior written consent to any transfer too, except if we are selling all or substantially all our large customer electricity retailing business in the State in which the Supply Address is located (in which case you appoint us to be your attorney to sign any document or do anything necessary to effect the transfer of this Agreement to the buyer of that business).
