Tribal Registration Sample Clauses
The Tribal Registration clause establishes the requirement for individuals or entities to formally register with a recognized tribal authority or governing body. In practice, this clause outlines the procedures, documentation, and eligibility criteria necessary for registration, such as proof of ancestry, residency, or other qualifications determined by the tribe. Its core function is to ensure that only those who meet specific standards are recognized as members or affiliates, thereby maintaining the integrity of tribal membership and access to associated rights and benefits.
Tribal Registration. The Tribe shall comply with State licensure and registration provisions for the taxes that are the subject of this Agreement. With respect to activity occurring solely within Tribal and Trust Lands, such licensure and registration shall serve only to identify Tribal operations that are subject to this Agreement. The Tribe shall not be subject to disciplinary action or penalty as a licensee or be subject to the revocation provisions applicable to any licensee under any of the taxes that are the subject of this Agreement, except for violations of the Motor Carrier Fuel Tax Act or the International Fuel Tax Agreement, to the extent not altered by this Agreement. Rather, alleged violations shall be addressed in the dispute resolution process or through termination of the Agreement.
