Trip Re-arrangement. In the event of an Insured Person having to re-route the Covered Trip after its commencement due to sudden occurrence of strike by the employees of a Public Common Carrier, mechanical &/or electrical breakdown of Public Common Carrier, hijack, unanticipated outbreak of natural disasters, epidemic, riot, civil commotion, adverse weather conditions, Terrorism, airport closure or unexpected issuance of a Black Alert at the planned destination, the Company will, subject to the Terms of this Policy and the Amount of Benefit stated in the Schedule, pay for the reasonable additional travel fare and/or accommodation expenses for which by the Insured Person is legally liable. a) The Insured Person will take all possible steps to recover the outlay for transportation, accommodation and package tour. b) In respect of curtailment claim for package tour expenses, the calculation of benefit payable by the Company will be in proportion to the unused days. c) No benefit will be payable for the claim in respect of same loss under both Coverage 4b(ii) Trip Re-arrangement and Coverage 4c Travel Delay. This section does not cover any curtailment or re-arrangement arising from or due to a) government's regulation, control or act. b) bankruptcy, liquidation, error, omission or default of the Public Common Carrier, the travel agent or other provider of any service forming part of the booked Itinerary.
