Common use of Trust Indenture Legislation Clause in Contracts

Trust Indenture Legislation. (1) In this Article 12, the expression “indenture legislation” means the provisions, if any, of any statute of Canada or any province thereof, and of any regulations under any such statute, relating to trust indentures and to the rights, duties and obligations of trustees under trust indentures and of corporations issuing debt obligations under trust indentures, to the extent that such provisions are in the Opinion of Counsel at the time in force and applicable to this Indenture or the Company.
