Undergraduate Research Sample Clauses
The Undergraduate Research clause establishes the terms and conditions under which undergraduate students may participate in research activities. It typically outlines eligibility requirements, supervision expectations, and the scope of permissible research tasks for undergraduates, such as assisting with data collection or literature reviews under faculty guidance. This clause ensures that undergraduate involvement in research is structured, supervised, and compliant with institutional policies, thereby protecting both the students and the integrity of the research process.
Undergraduate Research. These courses require significant faculty and student interaction in a student initiated laboratory research project. These courses must be recognized and approved as undergraduate research courses in accordance with the University’s course approval process. Contractual hours shall be equal to 0.4 x course credit hours x number of students, but not to exceed 3 contractual hours per semester.
