Underground Service. 1. UNDERGROUND SERVICE LINES FOR THE SUPPLY OF ELECTRIC, TELEPHONE AND CABLE TELEVISION SERVICES MAY BE LOCATED WITHIN THE UTILITY EASEMENTS OF THE SUBDIVISION. STREET LIGHT POLES OR STANDARDS SHALL BE SERVED BY UNDERGROUND CABLE AND ELSEWHERE THROUGHOUT THE SUBDIVISION. ALL SUPPLY LINES INCLUDING ELECTRIC, TELEPHONE, CABLE TELEVISION AND GAS LINES SHALL BE LOCATED UNDERGROUND IN THE EASEMENT WAYS DEDICATED FOR GENERAL UTILITY SERVICES AND IN THE RIGHTS-OF-WAY OF THE PUBLIC STREETS AS DEPICTED ON THE ACCOMPANYING PLAT. SERVICE PEDESTALS AND TRANSFORMERS, AS SOURCES OF SUPPLY AT SECONDARY VOLTAGES, MAY ALSO BE LOCATED IN THE EASEMENT WAYS. 2. UNDERGROUND SERVICE CABLES AND GAS SERVICE LINES TO ALL STRUCTURES WHICH MAY BE LOCATED WITHIN THE SUBDIVISION MAY BE RUN FROM THE NEAREST GAS MAIN, SERVICE PEDESTAL OR TRANSFORMER TO THE POINT OF USAGE DETERMINED BY THE LOCATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF SUCH STRUCTURE AS MAY BE LOCATED UPON THE LOT. PROVIDED THAT UPON THE INSTALLATION OF A SERVICE CABLE OR GAS SERVICE LINE TO A PARTICULAR STRUCTURE, THE SUPPLIER OF SERVICE SHALL THEREAFTER BE DEEMED TO HAVE A DEFINITIVE, PERMANENT AND EFFECTIVE AND NON-EXCLUSIVE RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT ON THE LOT, COVERING A FIVE FOOT (5') STRIP EXTENDING 2.5 FEET ON EACH SIDE OF THE SERVICE CABLE OR LINE EXTENDING FROM THE GAS MAIN, SERVICE PEDESTAL OR TRANSFORMER TO THE SERVICE ENTRANCE ON THE STRUCTURE. 3. THE SUPPLIER OF ELECTRIC, TELEPHONE AND CABLE TELEVISION AND GAS SERVICES, THROUGH ITS AGENTS AND EMPLOYEES, SHALL AT ALL TIMES HAVE THE RIGHT OF ACCESS TO ALL EASEMENTS SHOWN THE PLAT OR OTHERWISE PROVIDED FOR IN THIS DEED OF DEDICATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF INSTALLING, MAINTAINING, REMOVING OR REPLACING ANY PORTION OF THE UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC, TELEPHONE OR CABLE TELEVISION OR GAS FACILITIES INSTALLED BY THE SUPPLIER OF THE UTILITY SERVICE. 4. THE OWNER OF EACH LOT SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE UNDERGROUND SERVICE FACILITIES LOCATED ON HIS LOT AND SHALL PREVENT THE ALTERATION OF GRADE OR ANY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY WHICH WOULD INTERFERE WITH THE ELECTRIC, TELEPHONE, CABLE TELECOMMUNICATION OR GAS FACILITIES. EACH SUPPLIER OF SERVICE SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ORDINARY MAINTENANCE OF UNDERGROUND FACILITIES, BUT THE OWNER SHALL PAY FOR DAMAGE OR RELOCATION OF SUCH FACILITIES CAUSED OR NECESSITATED BY ACTS OF THE OWNER OR HIS AGENTS OR CONTRACTORS. 5. Underground Service. 1) The District will construct, install and maintain underground electric distribution facilities to the metering point, including transformer, subject to the provisions set forth in the Electric Service Extension Policy. 2) Replacement of overhead facilities with underground facilities may be done under the following conditions when the District determines it to be cost effective or in the best interest of the District: a) The District has assurance that all affected customers will cooperate in the conversion project. The District will determine in each case the minimum boundary limits to qualify for conversion. b) The District may require a payment according to the fee schedule to offset the cost of the underground installation. c) The customer will bear all costs of revising customer‐owned service entrance equipment to receive underground service. d) The District may require the customer to execute an agreement, wherein special conditions are applicable.
Underground ServiceIn addition to the metering equipment, for all installations requiring less than or equal to a single 250 kcmil aluminum triplex cable, MPS will own the secondary cable as described in Section 806.
Underground Service. 3.1. In relation to any underground services (in that the surface of the ground is to be broken) ARC may be required to first engage a third-party to ensure the safety of such activity. ARC reserves the right to engage a third-party provider ‘service locator’ and on-charge the client for that service. Such an event will constitute a variation as detailed in clause 2.5 above. The Client will be consulted before any such engagement is made. 3.2. The Client agrees to indemnify ARC in respect of any and all claims, loss, damages, costs and fines incurred as a result of damage to services not precisely located and notified. 3.3. Prior to Services commencing, the Client must advise ARC of the precise location of any underground services and clearly mark the same. These services include, but are not limited to, electrical, gas, sewer and pumping services, sewer connections, sludge mains and water mains, irrigation pipes, telephone cables, fibre optic cables, oil pump mains and any other services that may be on that location. 3.4. Whilst ARC will take all reasonable care to avoid damage to any underground services, the Client accepts and agrees to indemnify ARC in respect of any and all claims, loss, damage, costs and fines incurred as a result of damage to services not precisely located and notified, as per the clauses herein.
Underground Service. 1. Overhead lines for the supply of electric, telephone and cable television services may be located along the south boundary of the subdivision if located within the public street and utility easements herein established. Street light poles or standards may be served by overhead lines or underground cable but elsewhere throughout the subdivision all supply lines including electric, telephone, cable television and gas lines shall be located underground in the easement ways dedicated for general utility services and in the rights-of-way of the public streets, as depicted on the accompanying Plat. Service pedestals and transformers, as sources of supply at secondary voltages, may also be located in easement ways. 2. Underground service cables to all structures located within the Subdivision may be run from the nearest service pedestal or transformer to the point of usage determined by the location and construction of such structure, provided that upon the installation of a service cable to a particular structure, the supplier of service shall thereafter be deemed to have a definitive, permanent, effective and exclusive right-of-way easement on the lot, covering a 5 foot strip extending 2.5 feet on each side of the service cable, extending from the service pedestal or transformer to the service entrance on the structure. 3. The suppliers of electric, telephone, cable television and gas services, through their agents and employees, shall at all times have right of access to all easement ways shown on the Plat or otherwise provided for in this Deed of Dedication for the purpose of installing, maintaining, removing or replacing any portion of the underground electric, telephone, cable television or gas facilities installed by the supplier of the utility service. 4. The owner of the lot shall be responsible for the protection of the service facilities located on his lot and shall prevent the alteration of grade or any construction activity which would interfere with the electric, telephone, cable television or gas facilities, but the owner shall pay for damage or relocation of such facilities caused or necessitated by acts of the owner or his agents or contractors. 5. The covenants set forth in this Subsection B shall be enforceable by the suppliers of electric, telephone, cable television or gas service and the owner of each lot within the Subdivision agrees to be bound hereby.
Underground ServiceMPS shall not own any of the secondary service equipment required. MPS may provide up to 250 kcmil aluminum Type USE cable for the Customer to install for conversion from an overhead to an underground service.

Underground Service. The Cooperative policy at this time is that it does not furnish or install any underground service to its Customers. It does not prohibit or discourage the use of underground service by its Customers from the point of delivery to the consumer’s load.
