Underground Utilities. Any required ground digging or subsurface work shall be done in accordance with Chapter 556, Florida Statutes. It shall be the responsibility of CONTRACTOR to have all underground utilities located before any work begins (Sunshine State One Call 0-000-000-0000). The repairs of any damaged underground utilities as a result of the work being performed by CONTRACTOR shall be the responsibility of CONTRACTOR. The proper utility company shall be contacted immediately to expedite the repairs, if damage has occurred. CONTRACTOR will notify the COUNTY and provide a written explanation of the incident within two (2) days of the damage to any underground utilities.

They may be reached by calling 1-800-432-4770. The repairs of any damaged underground utilities as a result of the work being performed by the CONTRACTOR will be the responsibility of the CONTRACTOR. The CONTRACTOR shall contact the proper utility company immediately to expedite the repairs, if damage has occurred. The COUNTY must also be notified by telephone at the earliest opportunity and must be followed up with a written explanation of the incident within two (2) calendar days.
Underground Utilities. If included as a Service under this Agreement, Xxxxxxxxx or its authorized consultant will conduct research in Xxxxxxxxx’x or the consultant’s professional opinion is necessary, and will prepare a plan indicating the locations intended for subsurface penetrations with respect to assumed locations of underground improvements. These Services will be performed in a manner consistent with the ordinary standard of care. Client recognizes the research may not identify all underground improvements or their locations, and the information upon which Xxxxxxxxx and the consultant rely may contain errors or may not be complete. Client agrees, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Xxxxxxxxx and its agents, officers, directors, contractors and consultants from all liability (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs) of Client, its contractors or all other persons for delay or additional compensation relating to the identification, removal, relocation, or restoration of utilities, or damages to underground improvements resulting from subsurface penetration locations established by Xxxxxxxxx.
Underground Utilities. Repair or replacement of existing water, sewer, natural gas, electric or telecommunication lines and in-place repair of septic systems if it occurs in or adjacent to the existing trench and provided there is no substantial earth moving. Directional boring of new/replacement utility lines within previously disturbed soils.
Underground Utilities. Information for location of underground utilities may come from the Owner, third parties, and/or research performed by the Engineer or its subcontractors. Unfortunately, the information the Engineer must rely on from various utilities and other records may be inaccurate or incomplete. Therefore, the Owner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Engineer for all claims, losses, costs and damages arising out of the location of underground utilities provided by the Engineer under this Agreement.
Underground Utilities. Install all electrical, telephone, cable and gas utilities underground. Coordination of installation and all costs shall be the responsibility of the Developer.
Underground Utilities. Except to the extent expressly included as part of the Services, Garver will not provide research regarding utilities or survey utilities located and marked by their owners. Furthermore, since many utility companies typically will not locate and mark their underground facilities prior to notice of excavation, Garver is not responsible for knowing whether underground utilities are present or knowing the exact location of such utilities for design and cost estimating purposes. In no event is Garver responsible for damage to underground utilities, unmarked or improperly marked, caused by geotechnical conditions, potholing, construction, or other contractors or subcontractors working under a subcontract to this Agreement.
Underground Utilities. Exhibitor shall not, nor will Exhibitor allow any of its agents, vendors, or employees to drive any stake, instrument or object of any kind into the asphalt or grassy area of the Fairgrounds without the written consent of the Fair. Under ground electrical wiring is installed throughout the Fairgrounds, which could result in severe electrical shock. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Exhibitor to en force this provision and the Fair will look to the Exhibitor for reimbursement pursuant to these Rules and Regulations.
Underground Utilities. All electrical utilities shall be installed underground unless the requirement is expressly waived by the Planning Commission.
Underground Utilities. Signal, communication, fiber-optic, petroleum, natural gas, electric power and other utilities are present in SCRRA right-of-way. The Contractor shall contact the Southern California Underground Service Alert (DigAlert) at 811 to locate underground utilities. SCRRA is not a member of DigAlert. The Contractor shall call SCRRA at (000) 000-0000 a minimum of five days prior to beginning work to xxxx SCRRA’s signal and communication cables and conduits. Delays and disruptions to service may cause business interruptions involving loss of revenue and profits, danger to train operations, and release of potentially hazardous or flammable compounds.
