UNDERLAYMENT INSTALLATION. A. Felt Underlayment: Install felt underlayment, wrinkle free, using adhesive to minimize use of mechanical fasteners under sheet metal flashing and trim. Apply in shingle fashion to shed water, with lapped joints of not less than 2 inches.

UNDERLAYMENT INSTALLATION. A. Self-Adhering Sheet Underlayment: Apply primer if required by manufacturer. Comply with temperature restrictions of underlayment manufacturer for installation. Apply at locations indicated below, wrinkle free, in shingle fashion to shed water, and with end laps of not less than 6 inches staggered 24 inches between courses. Overlap side edges not less than 3-1/2 inches. Roll laps with roller. Cover underlayment within 14 days. 1. Apply over the entire roof surface. 2. Apply over the roof area indicated below: a. Roof perimeter for a distance up from xxxxx of 36 inches beyond interior wall line. b. Valleys, from lowest point to highest point, for a distance on each side of 18 inches. Overlap ends of sheets not less than 6 inches. c. Rake edges for a distance of 18 inches. d. Hips and ridges for a distance on each side of 12 inches. e. Roof-to-wall intersections for a distance from wall of 18 inches. f. Around dormers, chimneys, skylights, and other penetrating elements for a distance from element of 18 inches. B. Felt Underlayment: Apply at locations indicated below, in shingle fashion to shed water, and with lapped joints of not less than 2 inches. 1. Apply over the entire roof surface. 2. Apply on roof not covered by self-adhering sheet underlayment. Lap over edges of self- adhering sheet underlayment not less than 3 inches, in shingle fashion to shed water. C. Slip Sheet: Apply slip sheet over underlayment before installing metal roof panels. D. Flashings: Install flashings to cover underlayment to comply with requirements specified in Section 09 "Manufactured Roof Specialties and Sheet Metal Flashing Fabrications."

  • Equipment Installation In order to meet its obligations under this Agreement, a Party that owns, rents, or leases equipment (the equipment owner) may require installation of such equipment on property owned by another Party (the property owner), provided that the property is being used for an electric utility purpose and that the property owner shall not be required to do so if it would thereby be prevented from performing its own obligations or exercising its rights under this Agreement.
