Undue Competitive Bid Advantage. The Designer shall not retain any consultant or vendor to aid in the preparation of the bid documents, job requirements and specifications or to consult on the nature or scope of the project where there is a reasonable expectation that the consultant or vendor may participate in the bidding process for that project and where there is a reasonable expectation that the aid provided by consultant or vendor would result in an undue competitive advantage to that consultant or vendor, regardless of whether the consultant or vendor is reimbursed for its services.
