Common use of Unemployment Insurance Compliance Clause in Contracts

Unemployment Insurance Compliance. The Contractor shall remain current in both its quarterly reporting and payment of contributions or payments in lieu of contributions, as applicable, to the State Unemployment Insurance system as a condition of maintaining this grant. 1. any records of unemployment insurance (UI) contributions, interest, and/or penalty payment arrears or reporting delinquency; 2. any debts owed for UI contributions, interest, and/or penalties; 3. the history and results of any audit or investigation; and 4. copies of wage reporting information. Such disclosures are protected under Section 537 of the State Labor Law, which makes it a misdemeanor for the recipient of such information to use or disclose the information for any purpose other than the performing due diligence as a part of the approval process for the Master Contract.
