HEALTH AND INSURANCE BENEFITS. 22.01 All health and insurance benefit premium costs paid by the Employer shall prorate in accordance with the proration formula under Article 22.12 of this Agreement. Same sex spouse is eligible to be a dependent for insured benefits.
HEALTH AND INSURANCE BENEFITS. 30.01 The Employer will continue coverage for employees under the Government of Canada Public Service Health Care Plan, Public Service Dental Care Plan and Public Service Disability Insurance Plan, as amended from time to time.
HEALTH AND INSURANCE BENEFITS. An employee who is on injury leave and receiving Workers' Compensation time loss benefits shall maintain health and insurance benefits. The employee shall be responsible to pay the employee portion of the employee's elected benefits.
HEALTH AND INSURANCE BENEFITS. (a) Subject to eligibility pursuant to the Collective Agreement, the Employer will provide current Health and Insurance benefits coverage for faculty working under this Article. Premiums for this coverage will continue to be paid as if the faculty member was continuing to work for the Employer in British Columbia. Limitations:
(1) Dental expenses incurred will be reimbursed based on the British Columbia fee schedule in effect under the Employer’s group policy.
(2) Benefit coverage will not extend beyond the date the policy or any benefits terminate with the Employer’s insurance carrier.
(3) When a faculty member is working in countries where payment for medical services may require cash payment, the faculty member will submit his/her claim to the insurance carrier for reimbursement of such expenses. The Employer will advance monies in such instances if there is an anticipated delay from the insurance carrier.
(4) A faculty member will be referred to the Human Resources Department to clarify the benefit and travel medical insurance coverage.
(5) In no event will a faculty member who is eligible for benefits receive greater benefits than he/she would have been covered for while employed at his/her home campus.
(b) Notwithstanding the provisions of 37.3(a), in cases where a faculty member does not have Extended Health Benefit coverage, the Employer will supply travel medical insurance. Article 37.3 also applies to travel in the United States.
HEALTH AND INSURANCE BENEFITS. There will be no change to the level of Health and Insurance benefits without prior consultation between the Parties.
HEALTH AND INSURANCE BENEFITS. (a) Except as provided in (b) of this Article, current practices will prevail for the duration of this Agreement, except that any changes in medical, hospital and disability plans, including the premium payable by employees, applicable to the majority of those employed by the Public Service of Canada for whom the Treasury Board of Canada represents the Employer, will, during the life of this Agreement, be applicable to the employees under this Agreement.
(b) For each employee insured under the Disability Insurance Plan, the Employer will make a monthly contribution toward the premium cost such that the premium cost per $1000 of annual salary for an employee so insured will be equated with the premium cost per $1000 of annual salary for employees of this bargaining unit insured under the Long-Term Disability coverage of the Public Service Management Insurance Plan.
(c) The parties agree that the question of health and insurance plans appropriate to the Employer and this bargaining unit will be the subject of joint consultation under clause 14.5.2 during the life of this Agreement.
HEALTH AND INSURANCE BENEFITS. Current practices will prevail for the duration of this Agreement, except that any changes in medical, dental, hospital and disability plans, including the premium payable by employees, applicable to the majority of those employed in the Public Service of Canada for whom Treasury Board is the employer, will, during the life of this Agreement, be applicable to the employees under this Agreement. An employee who, prior to the signing of this collective agreement, was covered under the terms of the Public Service Management Insurance Plan shall continue to be so covered, and shall be entitled to receive any improvement made in respect to the Public Service Management Insurance Plan during the term of this Agreement, unless the employee wishes to cancel their coverage.
HEALTH AND INSURANCE BENEFITS. The optional life and health insurance program available to and paid for by Employees who were actively employed on or before April may continue in full force and effect, subject to the terms and conditions of that program, unless altered by legislationover which the Employer has no control or unless waived by the Employees. The terms and conditions in respect of the payment of premiums and the eligibility for benefits under the Public Service Health Care Plan and applicable provincial medicare plans as amended from time to time apply to all employees subject to this Agreement with the exception of those Employees who are eligible for and elect the coverage referred to in Clause The Disability Insurance Plan as established by Treasury Board Directive and in effect at the Royal Canadian Mint will continue during the life of this Agreement. The Employer agrees to pay of the Disability Insurance Plan premiums and of the required premiums at Level I of the Public Service Health Care Plan; of the required premiums at Level II; and of the required premiums at Level III. The Employer agrees to upgrade the current Dental Plan in force for the duration of this Agreement with all premiums to be paid by the Royal Canadian Mint. More specifically, the Mint agrees to upgrade the current Orthodontics coverage from to The Employer agrees to update the Ontario Dental Association schedule to the schedule effective from the signing of this Agreement. The Employer will ensure that adequate administrative pro- cedures are in place to permit Employees on a Leave of Absence without pay the opportunity of continuing to enjoy full benefit coverage under the existing cost-sharing arrangements during such a leave of absence, other than a Leave of Absence granted under Clause of this Agreement.
HEALTH AND INSURANCE BENEFITS. All medical and other health insurance benefits presently available to the employees shall continue in full force and effect, unless altered by legislation over which the Mint has no control. The terms and conditions of premiums and benefits under the Public Service Health Care Plan and applicable provincial medicare plans pursuant thereto as amended from time to time apply to all employees subject to this Agreement. The Disability Plan as established by Treasury Board directive and in effect at the Mint will continue during the life of this Agreement.
HEALTH AND INSURANCE BENEFITS. As of October 31 each year, the actual cost of providing benefits as contained in Article 32.01 shall be calculated as the total premium due and paid to the insurer for the benefits in force by the Union for each member of the bargaining unit for the immediately preceding period of November 01 • October 31. The Union shall ensure that detailed monthly xxxxxxxx are available for the purposed of calculating the premiums required for the coverage in force. The total cost will exclude any amounts required to fund any reserves under the program.
