Common use of Unemployment Insurance Compliance Clause in Contracts

Unemployment Insurance Compliance. The Contractor shall remain current in both its quarterly reporting and payment of contributions or payments in lieu of contributions, as applicable, to the State Unemployment Insurance system as a condition of maintaining this grant. The Contractor hereby authorizes the State Department of Labor to disclose to DHSES staff only such information as is necessary to determine the Contractor’s compliance with the State Unemployment Insurance Law. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. any records of unemployment insurance (UI) contributions, interest, and/or penalty payment arrears or reporting delinquency; 2. any debts owed for UI contributions, interest, and/or penalties; 3. the history and results of any audit or investigation; and 4. copies of wage reporting information.
