Union Education Fund. The Employer agrees to contribute one cent ($0.01), per hour worked per employee, into the UNITE HERE Local 75 Union Education Fund.
Union Education Fund. The employer recognizes that education is a continuing process. Accordingly the employer shall allow the union to sponsor education functions such as seminars and workshops to be held on the employer’s premises in facilities when they are available at no charge to the union. Inasmuch as the union and the employer have a joint belief in providing support to upgrade existing employees, the fund will be used exclusively to ensure that employees are prepared to pursue the challenges of the day-to-day change in life experiences in the workplace.

Union Education Fund. An employee shall make a contribution to the union education fund of $0.02 for every hour worked. Such amount shall be deducted from the employee’s pay by his employer and remitted to the Commission at the same time as the monthly report. This amount shall serve to implement a union education fund for the purpose of allowing the representative associations identified under the Act to dispense training services aimed at the development of competencies regarding all aspects of labour relations. The Commission shall forward to each representative association, according to the amounts collected for the members represented by such association, the amounts so received with a memorandum of names within 15 days of receipt. The memorandum of names so forwarded shall also take into account any correction notice made pursuant to Article 6.03, Subsection 6).
Union Education Fund. The Employer shall contribute each month to the CLAC Education Fund, three cents (3¢) per hour worked by every employee, to a maximum of three hundred and fifty dollars ($350.00) for each facility under this Agreement, in each calendar year. Such contributions shall be remitted with, and in the same manner as union dues, as described in Article 7.

Union Education Fund. 25.01 The Company agrees to contribute three (3) cents per basic hour effective, January 1, 1999, for each full-time Employee covered by this collective agreement to the GCIU Education Fund of Canada, hereinafter referred to as the “Union Education Fund”, for the purpose of providing paid education leave. Such paid education leave will be for the purpose of upgrading the skills of employees in all aspects of the trade union functions.
25.02 All payments shall be made on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by the Graphic Communications International Union (GCIU) for the sole purpose of union education and remitted by the Company to the Canadian Office of the GCIU.
25.03 The Company agrees that members of the bargaining unit who are selected by the Union to attend Union Education courses will be granted a leave of absence for up to one (1) week to attend such courses. The Union will endeavor to provide the Company with sufficient advance notice of such courses and the names of those attending.
Union Education Fund. The Company will remit Ten thousand dollars ($10,000) per calendar year to the Local 1132 Union Education Fund.
