Common use of Updates to the Data Management Plan Clause in Contracts

Updates to the Data Management Plan. The recipient will update the project’s Data Management Plan to include any plan details listed as “Not available (N/A)” or “To be determined (TBD)”, or that are in other ways left unspecified in the current version of the Data Management Plan. Updated plan details will include specific start and end dates that accurately reflect the period of observational data collection. The recipient must deliver updated plans to the Council at least annually until all “N/A”, “TBD”, or unspecified items are provided, and to correct any inaccuracies until all information is final. The first updated plan must include time-frames for providing any missing information. Updated plans provided to the Council must conform to the structure of the template provided on the Council website. A completed Data Management Closeout Report must be submitted and approved prior to closeout of the award.
