Common use of Upkeep of Facilities Clause in Contracts

Upkeep of Facilities. The resident is expected to reasonably maintain the assigned living space and common areas relative to order, cleanliness, and safety. The resident will be held financially accountable for extra cleaning, as well as the repair or replacement cost of any damage to the living space or furnishings therein, and may be subject to disciplinary action. When two (2) or more residents occupy the same room/apartment and responsibility cannot be ascertained, the damage charge will be assessed equally among the residents.
