Common use of Upwork’s Compliance with Instructions Clause in Contracts

Upwork’s Compliance with Instructions. With respect to Customer Personal Data subject to European Data Protection Legislation, Upwork will comply with the instructions described in Section 5.2.2 (Customer’s Instructions) (including with regard to data transfers) unless EU or EU Member State law to which Upwork is subject requires other processing of Customer Personal Data by Upwork, in which case Upwork will inform Customer (unless that law prohibits Upwork from doing so on important grounds of public interest) via the Notification Email Address.
