Common use of U.S. DOL Certification Clause in Contracts

U.S. DOL Certification. When its Award, the accompanying Underlying Agreement, or any Amendments thereto involve public transportation operations and are supported with federal assistance appropriated or made available for 49 U.S.C. §§ 5307 – 5312, 5316, 5318, 5323(a)(1), 5323(b), 5323(d), 5328, 5337, 5338(b), or 5339, or former 49 U.S.C. §§ 5308, 5309, 5312, or other provisions of law as required by the Federal Government, U.S. DOL must provide a certification of employee protective arrangements before FTA may provide federal assistance for that Award. The Recipient agrees that the certification issued by U.S. DOL is a condition of the Underlying Agreement and that the Recipient must comply with its terms and conditions.
