Common use of Use of Account Clause in Contracts

Use of Account. a) The Depositor may use and access the Account in accordance with these terms and conditions. The Depositor shall not, and shall ensure that no Authorized Signatory or Authorized User shall: i) use the Account for any illegal, fraudulent, or defamatory purpose, or ii) take steps, or cause, or permit anything to be done that could undermine the security or integrity of the Account, including activities that threaten to harm or cause harm to any other participant in the provision, utilization, or support of the Account. b) The Depositor irrevocably authorizes and directs the Financial Institution to debit or credit, as the case may be, the amount of any Transaction to the Account, together with any service charges or fees, authorized using a Password, in person by the Depositor or an Authorized Signatory and/or Authorized User, or as otherwise contemplated or permitted by these terms and conditions, in accordance with the normal practices of the Financial Institution, which may be amended from time to time without notice.
