Convenience Checks. We may, from time to time and in our sole discretion, provide Convenience Checks to you that allow you to access your available Credit Line by writing a check.
Convenience Checks. Convenience Checks are available at our discretion. If we make Convenience Checks available, they may only be used by Persons whose names are pre-printed on them. Each Convenience Check must be completed and signed in the same way you complete a personal check.
Convenience Checks. We may, at our discretion, issue checks to you which may be used for any purpose other than making a payment for credit to your account. By signing such check, you authorize us to pay the item for the amount indicated and post such amount as a cash advance to your account. We do not have to pay any item which would cause the outstanding balance in your account to exceed your credit limit.
Convenience Checks. We may, from time to time, issue convenience checks to you that may be drawn on your account. Convenience checks may not be used to make a payment on your account. If you use a convenience check, it will be posted to your account as a cash advance. We reserve the right to refuse to pay a convenience check drawn on your account for any reason and such refusal shall not constitute wrongful dishonor. You may request that we stop the payment of a convenience check drawn on your account. You agree to pay any fee as identified in this Agreement imposed to stop a payment on a convenience check issued on your account. You may make a stop payment request orally, if permitted, or in writing. Your request must be made with sufficient time in advance of the presentment of the check for payment to give us a reasonable opportunity to act on your request. In addition, your request must accurately describe the check including the exact Account number, the payee, any check number that may be applicable, and the exact amount of the check. If permitted, you may make a stop payment request orally, but such a request will expire after 14 days unless you confirm your request in writing within that time. Written stop payment orders are effective only for six months and may be renewed for additional six-month periods by requesting in writing that the stop payment order be renewed. We are not required to notify you when a stop payment order expires.
Convenience Checks. Upon request, and from time to time, we may send you convenience checks for use in borrowing under this Agreement. All convenience checks you use will be treated as Cash Advances under this Agreement unless we advise you otherwise. You may not use the convenience checks to make payments on any credit card Accounts, lines of credit or loans with us. You understand that if you use a convenience check to make a purchase and you have a dispute with that purchase, the dispute is not covered by the Billing Rights Summary below. You understand that the convenience checks will not be returned to you.
Convenience Checks. You can use your Convenience Checks (“Checks”) to purchase goods or services up to the amount of your Credit Line. Use of your Checks is a cash advance to Your VISA® Account. We are not required to honor a check that will cause you to exceed your Credit Line. We will not pay a Check if at the time the Check is presented, you are in default or we have suspended, terminated or canceled your Account. Each Check must be in the form we have issued to you. Checks may be used only by the person(s) whose name(s) is printed on the Checks. You may not use your Checks to pay any amount you owe under your Account. Your statement will show you an itemization of the Checks posted to your Account during the billing cycle. Checks paid by us will not be returned to you with your statement. We will charge a Returned Item Fee per returned check which will be billed to your Account, if your Check(s) cannot be paid. Checks are not subject to VISA® chargeback rights. Provided such request is timely, so that we shall have a reasonable opportunity to act upon it under our rules, you may order a Stop Payment on a Check drawn on your Account. We may, but shall not be obligated to, receive such order orally. In such event, the order shall be valid for only fourteen (14) days thereafter unless confirmed in writing. Written stop payment orders will remain in effect only six (6) months unless renewed in writing. You have the responsibility of establishing the fact and amount of loss resulting from payment contrary to a binding stop payment. We will charge a Stop Payment Fee when you place a stop payment on your Checks(s) which will be billed to your Account.
Convenience Checks. Periodically, Mission Fed may supply you with personalized convenience checks, “Check(s)”, which you may use to make purchases or pay other bills. Use of these Checks will be treated as a cash advance and subject to associated transaction fees. The person whose name appears on the Check must sign it. We may return your Check(s) unpaid when available credit in your Account is insufficient to cover the amount of the Check(s), when your Account is in default, or when your Credit Line has been suspended. You may not use Checks to make payments on your Account. You may not write a postdated Check. A stop payment may be requested on any UNPAID convenience check. All stop payment requests must be authorized in writing in order for the stop payment to remain valid for 12 months. Any stop payment request made by telephone will be valid for 14 calendar days until a written form is received. A stop payment processing fee will be charged. There will also be a processing fee for canceling a stop payment request, and we require the cancellation order in writing. For current fees please refer to the Consumer Fee Schedule.

Convenience Checks. At our discretion, we may issue you a “Convenience Check” to obtain credit on the Account. Use of a Convenience Check is a Cash Advance unless the check indicates otherwise. You may not use a Convenience Check to pay any amount you owe us. We may reject and return unpaid any Convenience Check if: (1) your Account is past due, charged of, bankrupt, lost/stolen, in default, or closed; (2) we suspect fraud; (3) your Account is over the credit limit; or (4) the check has expired, is damaged or cannot otherwise be processed. Unless there has been Unauthorized Use in connection with the Convenience Check, you must pay us for any Convenience Check we pay, even if we were permitted to reject and return the Convenience Check. You may request us to stop payment on an unpaid Convenience Check. To do so, contact us at the customer service phone number provided on your billing statement. We will charge a stop payment fee of $20. We will have a reasonable amount of time after your stop payment request to research and complete the stop payment. We will not be responsible if we cannot complete the stop payment. Reasons may include but are not limited to: (1) the Convenience Check was already paid; (2) you do not give us the information we asked for; or (3) the information you gave us was incorrect. Once received, your stop payment request will remain valid for six (6) months unless you or another Cardmember ask us to remove it. If we re-credit your Account after a valid stop payment order, you give us all of your rights against the payee or other holder of the paid Convenience Check. You also agree to help us in any legal action we may later take against the payee or other holder of the Convenience Check. You may not issue a postdated Convenience Check on your Account. If you do postdate a Convenience Check, we may elect to honor it upon presentment or return it unpaid to the person that presented it to us for payment, without in either case waiting for the date shown on the Convenience Check. We are not liable to you for any loss or expense arising out of the action we elect to take.
