Use of District Data Clause Samples
The 'Use of District Data' clause defines how data belonging to the district may be accessed, used, or shared by the parties involved in the agreement. This section does not prohibit Provider from using District Data (i) for adaptive learning or customized student learning (including generating personalized learning recommendations); or (ii) to make product recommendations to teachers or LEA employees; or (iii) to notify account holders about new education product updates, features, or services or from otherwise using District Data as permitted in this Addendum or the Contract.
Use of District Data. District hereby grants Contractor and its employees and agents carrying out their duties to the District pursuant to this Agreement, a limited non-exclusive license for the term of this Agreement to use the District Data solely for performing Contractor’s obligations under this Agreement and not for any other purpose. Nothing herein shall be construed to confer any license or right to the District Data by implication, estoppel or otherwise, under copyright or other intellectual property rights, to any third party, or for any other purpose, not expressly authorized hereunder.
