Common use of USE OF ELECTRONIC COMMERCE Clause in Contracts

USE OF ELECTRONIC COMMERCE. The Government utilizes electronic commerce to the fullest extent practicable. As time and technology allow, the Government will implement new technologies to advance in electronic commerce. The Contractor must cooperate with the Government in its use and upgrade of electronic commerce technologies. The Government will provide adequate notice and restraint in moving to new/additional technologies so as to afford the Contractor the opportunity to stay abreast of the changes. All costs for electronic commerce upgrades on the Contractor's part to maintain compatibility with the Government will be at the Contractor's expense and will not be charged to the Government.
