Common use of Use of Independent Sales Offices Clause in Contracts

Use of Independent Sales Offices. MERCHANT acknowledges that BANK may have been referred to MERCHANT through an independent sales office operating under applicable VISA, MasterCard, and Discover Network rules and regulations. The independent sales office is only an independent contractor, is not an employee or agent of BANK, and has no authority to alter the terms of this Agreement without BANK’S prior written approval.
