(1) Union representatives will not be disadvantaged in the assessment of their performance based on their use of official time when conducting labor-management businessbusiness authorized by this Article. However, it is understood that performance problems unrelated to the use of official time may be addressed in accordance with other relevant provisions of this Agreement.
