Whenever the college closes or delays opening, the period specified during which non-essential staff are not required to report will be recorded as emergency release (code 72). This is paid release time that is not charged to any employee leave balance. B. Liberal leave will be granted to non-essential staff who cannot comply with announced operations schedule. C. Essential employees who do not report as required may be subject to disciplinary action. D.
