Common use of Use of Special Distribution Funds Clause in Contracts

Use of Special Distribution Funds. Revenue placed in the Special Distribution Fund shall be available for appropriation by the Legislature for the following purposes: (a) Grants, including any administrative costs, for programs designed to address and treat gambling addiction; (b) Grants, including any administrative costs and environmental review costs, for the support of State and local government agencies impacted by tribal government gaming; (c) Compensation for regulatory costs incurred by the State including, but not limited to, the Commission, the California Department of Justice, the Office of the Governor, the California Department of Public Health Programs, Office of Problem Gambling, the State Controller, the Department of Human Resources, the Financial Information System for California, and State Designated Agencies, and pursuant to the formula and process set forth in section 4.3 above, other state agencies in connection with the implementation and administration of Class III Gaming compacts and Secretarial Procedures in California; and (d) Any other purposes specified by the Legislature that are consistent with IGRA.
