Summary of Licensing Principles. All persons in any way connected with the Gaming Operation or Gaming Facility who are required to be licensed or to submit to a background investigation under IGRA, and any others required to be licensed under this Compact, including, without limitation, all Gaming Employees, Gaming Resource Suppliers, Financial Sources not otherwise exempt from licensing requirements, and any other person having a significant influence over the Gaming Operation, must be licensed by the Tribal Gaming Agency and, except as otherwise provided, cannot have had any determination of suitability denied or revoked by the State Gaming Agency. The parties intend that the licensing process provided for in this Compact shall involve joint cooperation between the Tribal Gaming Agency and the State Gaming Agency, as more particularly described herein.

  • Accounting Principles Where the character or amount of any asset or liability or item of income or expense is required to be determined or any consolidation or other accounting computation is required to be made for the purposes of this Agreement, the same shall be done in accordance with GAAP, to the extent applicable, except where such principles are inconsistent with the requirements of this Agreement.
