Use of the Venue. 1. The Hirer shall keep the Venue clean and tidy and shall ensure that the Venue is regularly litter picked during the event. The Hirer shall further ensure that the Council’s obligations under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 – Code of Practice on Litter and Refuse and any subsequential legislation are discharged. 2. All litter and refuse generated by the Event shall be removed from the Venue by the Hirer. 3. The Hirer must at all times take good care of the Venue and will be responsible for any damage to the Venue or any part of it or any equipment or other property of the Council whether forming part of the hire or not. 4. The property of the Hirer and the Hirer’s agents must be removed at the end of the period of hire. The Council accepts no responsibility for any property left on the Venue before, during or after the hire period. 5. If the Hirer fails to perform any of its obligations set out in Clauses 1-3, above the Council reserves the right to perform any such obligations and any costs incurred by the Council in the performance of such obligations shall be borne by the Hirer. 6. The Hirer is responsible for the administration, organisation and running of the Event and for having sufficient stewards and officials to fulfil these Conditions. 7. The Hirer is responsible for the supervision and control of Event participants, officials, visitors and spectators. 8. The Hirer shall not be permitted to remove or obscure Council notices or placards displayed on the Venue without the prior written consent of the Council. 9. Where it has been necessary to make a road closure order the Hirer shall ensure that the road closure equipment is not moved and shall maintain the integrity of the closure. 10. The Hirer shall not interfere with or attach anything to any item of street furniture or parks furniture. 11. The Hirer shall not excavate or drill pinning holes into the venue. 12.The Hirer shall ensure that any unwanted liquids are removed from the Venue and not disposed of into the sewage system or on the Venue. 13. The Hirer shall ensure that no vehicles are parked or driven across the Parade. 14. The Hirer shall ensure that pedestrians are allowed unrestricted access along any public footpath located within the Venues. 15. The Hirer shall not interfere with or make any alteration to the layout or arrangement of the Venue without the prior written consent of the Council. 16. Where the Council has agreed that the Venue shall be used for a fun fair then the Hirer shall supply full details of all side shows and rides prior to the due date and shall comply with and ensure that the operators of the rides comply with the guidance given in the publication Fairgrounds and Amusement Parks – Guidance on Safe Practice published by the Health and Safety Executive, and all other statutory requirements. 17. The Hirer shall ensure that no noise nuisance shall be caused to occupiers of properties surrounding the Venue or users of the immediate surrounding area of the Venue. 18. For events which finish late evening, the clearing up period must not extend beyond 10 am the following day. 19. The Council reserve the right to require the Hirer to provide at his own expense temporary sanitary accommodation at a level deemed suitable by the Health and Safety’s Executive’s The Event Safety Guide, page 83 (xxx.xxx.xxx.xx) or any subsequent HSE publication. If the Hirer wishes the opening hours of the Church Lane public toilet extended then a written request indicating the hours required should be submitted to Lostwithiel Town Council at least one calendar month in advance of the event. 20. The Hirer reserves the right not allow at the Event any exhibition, performance or entertainment in which animals are or might be involved. 21. The Hirer will not permit the operation or release of any high-flying object without the prior written consent of the Council, the Civil Aviation Authority and the Police. 00. Xx is the responsibility of the Hirer to liaise with Cornwall Council and the Police regarding the impact the Event may have on traffic arrangements in the vicinity of the Venue. The Hirer shall not bring into the Venue any article of an inflammable or explosive character or that produces an offensive smell, or CFC or any oil, electrical, gas or other apparatus without the written approval of the Council. 25. The Hirer shall obtain approval from the Council for the use of generators at the Event. If such approval shall be granted the Hirer must ensure that any generators permitted at the event are operated in a safe manner and are segregated from the public or are protected by suitable covers or barrier, so as to prevent access by members of the public. 26. The Hirer shall not bring, place or erect any sign furniture, fitting or structure nor place or fix any additional or decorative lighting in or on any parts of the Venue without the prior written consent of the Council. 27. The use of any public address system at the Event must be first agreed in writing by Cornwall Council and must be operated so as not to cause a noise nuisance in breach of clause number 17. Any necessary licences must be obtained by the Hirer. 28. The Hirer shall repay to the Council on demand the cost, of reinstating, repairing or replacing or cleansing any part of or property in the Venue if damaged, destroyed, stolen or removed prior to, during or subsequent to the period of hire if related to or by reason of the hiring. The Council’s valuation of any damage/loss is final. A Council Contractor will carry out reinstatement.
29. Use of the Council’s land is also subject to the prior agreement in writing from the Council about the layout and position of each event8.24 Any conditions set through licenses or consents must be complied with.

Use of the Venue. 2.1. This Agreement entitles the Hirer to use the Venue during the Period identified on Item 1 of the Schedule.
2.2. The Standard Furniture and Equipment stated in Item 2 of the Schedule will be available to the Hirer.
2.3. A Liaison, named in Item 5 of the Schedule, will be available to finalise all necessary requirements prior to the Period.
2.4. The University will have on duty, available for general assistance to the Hirer during the Period, ONE Duty Technician. This technician will hold all necessary keys and supervise the Function and access to the Venue. The Duties and responsibilities of the “Duty Technician” are outlined in APPENDIX 1. Additional specific assistance must be arranged prior to the Period by the Hirer and will incur additional costs.
2.5. Any re-arrangement of the Venue may be undertaken only as approved by the University and if to be made prior to the Function can only be undertaken at agreed times that do not impact on the University’s teaching programme.
2.6. If the Function continues beyond the agreed finish time, regardless of whether it has the approval of the Support Technician, the extra time will be charged for at the Cost stated in Item 6 of the Schedule. One working day’s notice is required when requesting a booking to be extended later than the booked time.
2.7. The Hirer shall keep agrees that this Hire does not authorise them to interfere in any way with the Venue clean and tidy and shall ensure that normal teaching programme of the Venue is regularly litter picked during the eventUniversity. The Hirer shall further ensure must inform the Liaison of any changes made to the Venue. All equipment and furniture must be returned to its original layout any time that it is to be used for University purposes during the Council’s obligations under Period and at the Environmental Protection Act 1990 – Code end of Practice the Function. Most Venues have a room layout diagram on Litter and Refuse and any subsequential legislation are dischargedtheir notice board detailing the standard furniture layout.

Use of the Venue. 15.1 The Hirer shall not use the Venue for any purpose or activity other than the purpose or activity made known to Circomedia at the time of booking and at all times shall comply with the reasonable instructions of Circomedia in respect of its use of the Venue. In any event, the Hirer shall not use the Venue (or any part of it) for any activities which are dangerous, offensive, noxious, illegal or immoral or which may become a nuisance to Circomedia or any other occupiers of any areas of the Venue or the owner or occupier of any neighbouring property.
5.2 The Hirer shall not make any alterations, attachments or additions to the layout or appearance of the Venue and shall not use any equipment inside the Venue unless agreed with Circomedia in advance.
5.3 The Venue is the property of the Churches Conservation Trust and is a listed building. It is prohibited to, and you must not, use the Venue in any way which is or may be offensive to the Christian faith or which may potentially cause damage to the historic fabric of the building.
5.4 Smoking is not permitted in the Venue and no food, drink, drugs or animals shall be taken into the Event Space (with the exception of guide dogs) without the prior agreement of Circomedia. The Hirer shall keep be prohibited at all time from using any candles, pyrotechnical equipment or naked flames within the Venue.
5.5 Circomedia has a Challenge 25 policy in place to protect both the Venue clean and tidy the safety of the individual. Circomedia retain the right to ask for proof of age or to refuse serving alcohol to any persons clearly assessed as intoxicated. Any persons threatening or abusing staff or mistreating the Venue will be asked to leave. No illegal substances may be brought into the Venue. Circomedia reserves the right to require anyone suspected of being under the influence of or using illegal substances within the Venue to leave the premises or refuse entrance.
5.6 The agreed start time and closing time for the Event must be strictly observed and the Hirer shall ensure that the Venue is regularly litter picked during the event. The Hirer shall further ensure that the Council’s obligations under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 – Code of Practice on Litter and Refuse and any subsequential legislation are discharged.

Use of the Venue. 1. The Hirer shall keep (or their representative as notified to the Venue clean and tidy and shall ensure that Club) is required to be present for the Venue is regularly litter picked during duration of the event.

The Hirer shall further ensure that not remove or permit the Council’s obligations under removal of any furniture, equipment including catering equipment without the Environmental Protection Act 1990 – Code permission of Practice on Litter and Refuse and any subsequential legislation are discharged.
2. All litter and refuse generated by the Event shall be removed from the Venue by the HirerMana Cruising Club.
3. The Hirer must at all times take good care of shall only use the Venue equipment for the purpose and within the capacity limits for which it has been designed and will be responsible for any damage not attempt to alter, repair or modify the Venue or any part of it or any equipment or other property of the Council whether forming part of the hire or notequipment.
4. The property of the Hirer and the Hirer’s agents must be removed at the end of the period of hire. The Council accepts no responsibility for any property left on the Venue before, during or after the hire period.
5. If the Hirer fails to perform any of its obligations set out in Clauses 1-3, above the Council reserves the right to perform any such obligations and any costs incurred by the Council in the performance of such obligations shall be borne by the Hirer.
6. The Hirer is responsible for the administration, organisation and running ensuring that no illegal activities take place inside or outside of the Event Mana Cruising Club during the hire period
5. The Hirer must ensure that a parent or designated care giver, who is at least 18 years of age accompanies children under 10 years of age especially outside (note location is on the Porirua Harbour)
6. No animals are permitted on the premises other than Campanion Dogs and Guide Dogs for having sufficient stewards and officials to fulfil these Conditions.the visually impaired
7. The Hirer is responsible for should ensure that noise levels are not exceeded during the supervision and control of Event participants, officials, visitors and spectators.Hire Period

17. The Hirer shall ensure that no noise nuisance shall be caused to occupiers of properties surrounding the Venue or users of the immediate surrounding area of the Venue.’s equipment, fixtures, fittings, heating or ventilation systems other than for their intended purpose;
18. For events which finish late evening, the clearing up period must f. not extend beyond 10 am the following day.

The Council reserve the right to require the Hirer to provide at his own expense temporary sanitary accommodation at a level deemed suitable by the Health and Safety’s Executive’s The Event Safety Guide, page 83 (xxx.xxx.xxx.xx) or deposit any subsequent HSE publication. If the Hirer wishes the opening hours of the Church Lane public toilet extended then a written request indicating the hours required should be submitted to Lostwithiel Town Council at least one calendar month in advance of the event.
20. The Hirer reserves the right not allow at the Event any exhibition, performance or entertainment in which animals are or might be involved.
21. The Hirer will not permit the operation or release of any high-flying object without the prior written consent of the Council, the Civil Aviation Authority and the Police.

If such approval shall be granted the Hirer must ensure that any generators permitted at the event are operated in a safe manner and are segregated from the public or are protected by suitable covers or barrier, so as to prevent access by members of the publicthis Venue Hire Agreement.
26. The Hirer shall not bring, place or erect any sign furniture, fitting or structure nor place or fix any additional or decorative lighting in or on any parts of the Venue without the prior written consent of the Council.
27. The use of any public address system at the Event must be first agreed in writing by Cornwall Council and must be operated so as not to cause a noise nuisance in breach of clause number 17. Any necessary licences must be obtained by the Hirer.
28. The Hirer shall repay to the Council on demand the cost, of reinstating, repairing or replacing or cleansing any part of or property in the Venue if damaged, destroyed, stolen or removed prior to, during or subsequent to the period of hire if related to or by reason of the hiring. The Council’s valuation of any damage/loss is final.
29. Use of the Council’s land is also subject to the prior agreement in writing from the Council about the layout and position of each event.

The Hirer and his agents must ensure that all furniture brought into the house has sufficient protection on the legs to ensure the parkay floor is not scratched or damaged. No confetti or glitter of any type is permitted at The Venue. No nails, pins, sellotape or glue are permitted to be used anywhere at The Venue. Any decorative materials brought onto the premises must comply with Fire Protection Regulations. Proof of this may be requested. No items should be attached to the walls. No more than 12 children under the age of 16 may attend any event at The Venue at one time unless by prior arrangement. In case of any damages The Venue will take a payment from your debit/credit card. The Venue shall not deliver or arrange for delivery of any goods or materials to the Venue unless prior arrangements have been made. If it is a closed event, the Hirer is to ensure that alternative pedestrian routes are provided and applications for a temporary footpath closures are made to the rights of way officer.

2. All litter and refuse generated by the Event shall be removed from the Venue by the Hirer.
3. The Hirer must at all times take good care part of the Venue and will be responsible for any damage activities which could reasonably be considered to be dangerous, offensive, noxious, illegal or immoral or which are or may become a nuisance to the University or the owner or occupier of any neighbouring property;
12.1.3 not to do anything which might invalidate any insurance maintained by the University in respect of the Venue or which might reasonably be expected to raise any insurance premium payable for the Venue.
12.1.4 not to bring to the Venue or any part of it any animals (except guide dogs for the blind); and/or wines, spirits, food or any equipment or other property beverages without the prior consent of the Council whether forming part University;
12.1.5 to indemnify the University in respect of the hire or not.
4. The property cost of the Hirer and the Hirer’s agents must be removed at the end of the period of hire. The Council accepts no responsibility for making good any property left on damage to the Venue beforesuffered during the Event(excluding only fair wear and tear);
12.1.6 to indemnify the University against any damages, during losses, costs, claims or after the hire period.
5. If the Hirer fails to perform any of its obligations set out in Clauses 1-3, above the Council reserves the right to perform any such obligations and any costs expenses incurred by the Council University towards a third party arising out of or in connection with the performance Client’s use of such obligations shall be borne the Venue and/or the provision of the Services by the Hirer.
6. The Hirer is responsible for the administrationUniversity, organisation and running whether arising by reason of negligence of the Event and for having sufficient stewards and officials Client or otherwise;
12.1.7 not to fulfil these Conditions.park or allow another person to park on or obstruct any highway route allowing access to the Venue;
7. The Hirer is responsible for the supervision and control of Event participants, officials, visitors and spectators.
8. The Hirer shall 12.1.8 not be permitted to remove make any alterations or obscure Council notices attachments or placards displayed on additions to the Venue without the prior written consent of the CouncilUniversity;
12.1.9 to procure that the Event takes place during the period agreed on the Event Booking Form and to ensure that all guests have left the Venue no later than the end of said period or such time as the University shall have agreed in writing.
912.2 No vehicle belonging to the Client, the Client’s employees, agents, sub-contractors or guests will be allowed to park at the Venue or the premises of the University without a valid car parking permit. Where it The University accepts no responsibility for any damage, however occasioned to any vehicle parked on the University’s premises.
12.3 No wines, spirits, food or beverage may be brought into the Venue by the Client or on the Client’s behalf or that of any attendees at the Event for consumption at the Venue unless the University’s prior written consent has been necessary to make a road closure order the Hirer shall ensure that the road closure equipment is not moved and shall maintain the integrity of the closureobtained, for which an additional charge will be levied.
1012.4 The University may, at its sole discretion, assist the Client, where reasonably possible, with the storage of equipment that may be required for the Event. The Hirer Should the University permit any such equipment to be stored on it premises, and the Client chooses to do so, such equipment shall not interfere with be left by the Client entirely at the Client’s own risk and the University shall accept no liability for any loss or attach anything damage of any sort, howsoever occasioned, to any item of street furniture equipment, furniture, stock or parks furniturethe like left in storage premises owned or controlled by the University.
11. 12.5 The Hirer shall not excavate or drill pinning holes into Client must obtain the venue. 12.The Hirer shall ensure that University’s prior written approval if the Client wishes to attach any unwanted liquids are removed from the Venue and not disposed of into the sewage system or on the Venue.
13. The Hirer shall ensure that no vehicles are parked or driven across the Parade.
14. The Hirer shall ensure that pedestrians are allowed unrestricted access along any public footpath located within the Venues.
15. The Hirer shall not interfere with or make any alteration item to the layout walls, floors or arrangement of the Venue without the prior written consent of the Council.
16. Where the Council has agreed that the Venue shall be used for a fun fair then the Hirer shall supply full details of all side shows and rides prior to the due date and shall comply with and ensure that the operators of the rides comply with the guidance given in the publication Fairgrounds and Amusement Parks – Guidance on Safe Practice published by the Health and Safety Executive, and all other statutory requirements.
17. The Hirer shall ensure that no noise nuisance shall be caused to occupiers of properties surrounding the Venue or users of the immediate surrounding area ceilings of the Venue.
18. For events which finish late evening, 12.6 The Client acknowledges that he is aware that the clearing up period must not extend beyond 10 am the following day.
19University operates a No Smoking policy throughout all their properties. The Council reserve Client is responsible for ensuring that neither the right to require the Hirer to provide at his own expense temporary sanitary accommodation at a level deemed suitable by the Health and Safety’s Executive’s The Event Safety Guide, page 83 (xxx.xxx.xxx.xx) or Client nor any subsequent HSE publication. If the Hirer wishes the opening hours of the Church Lane public toilet extended then a written request indicating the hours required should be submitted to Lostwithiel Town Council at least one calendar month in advance of the event.
20. The Hirer reserves the right not allow attendees at the Event any exhibition, performance smoke in or entertainment in which animals are or might be involved.
21. The Hirer will not permit the operation or release of any high-flying object without the prior written consent of the Council, the Civil Aviation Authority and the Police.
00. Xx is the responsibility of the Hirer to liaise with Cornwall Council and the Police regarding the impact the Event may have on traffic arrangements in the vicinity of around the Venue. The Hirer agrees University reserves the right to charge for any associated cleaning costs in the case of failure to comply with any requirements of Cornwall Council and the Police regarding traffic managementthis policy.
23. The Hirer agrees that where the Venue is to be used in the dark then he will provide appropriate lighting to cover all areas to which the public are admitted or have access.
24. The Hirer shall not bring into the Venue any article of an inflammable or explosive character or that produces an offensive smell, or CFC or any oil, electrical, gas or other apparatus without the written approval of the Council.
25. The Hirer shall obtain approval from the Council for the use of generators at the Event. If such approval shall be granted the Hirer must ensure that any generators permitted at the event are operated in a safe manner and are segregated from the public or are protected by suitable covers or barrier, so as to prevent access by members of the public.
26. The Hirer shall not bring, place or erect any sign furniture, fitting or structure nor place or fix any additional or decorative lighting in or on any parts of the Venue without the prior written consent of the Council.
27. The use of any public address system at the Event must be first agreed in writing by Cornwall Council and must be operated so as not to cause a noise nuisance in breach of clause number 17. Any necessary licences must be obtained by the Hirer.
28. The Hirer shall repay to the Council on demand the cost, of reinstating, repairing or replacing or cleansing any part of or property in the Venue if damaged, destroyed, stolen or removed prior to, during or subsequent to the period of hire if related to or by reason of the hiring. The Council’s valuation of any damage/loss is final.
29. Use of the Council’s land is also subject to the prior agreement in writing from the Council about the layout and position of each event.
00. Xx admission charge can be made without prior written consent of the Council, though charges may be made to participate in activities included within any event. Collections for charitable purposes are allowed subject to the necessary consents, if applicable, having been obtained from Cornwall Council.
