Common use of Use of Transfer Agent's Name Clause in Contracts

Use of Transfer Agent's Name. The Fund shall not use the name of the Transfer Agent in any Prospectus, Statement of Additional Information, shareholders' report, sales literature or other material relating to the Fund in a manner not approved prior thereto in writing; provided, that the Transfer Agent need only receive notice of all reasonable uses of its name which merely refer in accurate terms to its appointment hereunder or which are required by any government agency or applicable law or rule. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any reference to the Transfer Agent shall include a statement to the effect that it is a wholly owned subsidiary of American Express Information Services Corporation.
