Use Tax Direct Payment Permit. For all leases and purchases of materials, equipment, supplies, or other tangible personal property used to perform the Agreement and shipped from outside California, the Contractor and any subcontractors leasing or purchasing such materials, equipment, supplies or other tangible personal property shall obtain a Use Tax Direct Payment Permit from the California State Board of Equalization (“SBE”) in accordance with the applicable SBE criteria and requirements.
