Using Your Card for Purchases. You can use your Card to purchase goods and services everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted. The maximum amount of purchases you may make on a daily basis is described in the section below entitled “Card Limitations”. If you do not have enough funds available in your Card Account for the entire purchase, you can instruct the merchant to charge part of the purchase to your Card Account and pay the remaining amount with other funds. These are called split transactions and some merchants do not permit them. If you use your Card Number or Account Number without presenting your Card (such as for mail order, telephone or Internet purchases), the legal effect will be the same as if you used the Card itself.
