Utility Supply Clause Samples

The Utility Supply clause defines the responsibilities and arrangements for providing essential services such as electricity, water, gas, and telecommunications to a property or project. Typically, it specifies which party—landlord, tenant, or contractor—is responsible for arranging, paying for, and maintaining these utility connections and services. For example, in a commercial lease, the tenant may be required to set up and pay for their own utility accounts, while in a construction contract, the contractor might be responsible for ensuring utilities are available at the site. This clause ensures clarity regarding utility obligations, preventing disputes over service provision and payment during the term of the agreement.
