Common use of Valid receipts Clause in Contracts

Valid receipts. The receipt of the Trustee for any moneys shall exonerate the person paying the same from all liability to make any further enquiry. Every such receipt shall as to the moneys paid or expressed to be received in such receipt, effectually discharge the person paying such moneys from such liability or enquiry and from being concerned to see to the application or being answerable or accountable for any loss or misapplication of such moneys.
