Common use of Vandalism Fund Clause in Contracts

Vandalism Fund. A fund not to exceed $1,500 shall be established for the reimbursement of classified personnel for damage to personal property resulting from acts of documented vandalism that occur on school property during regular working hours or at a school approved function in an official capacity. Classified personnel claims shall be limited to a maximum of $250.00 per occurrence. No more than $1,500 per year shall be paid from the fund for all such claims. Classified personnel seeking reimbursement under the provision of this policy must file a vandalism report according to guidelines established by the Superintendent. Failure to file such a report within 10 working days of the occurrence shall disqualify the employee from receiving reimbursement. The investigation of claims for reimbursement shall be the responsibility of the Superintendent of Schools or his designee.
