Vehicle Identification. Contractor's name, local telephone number, and a unique vehicle identification number designated by Contractor for each vehicle shall be prominently displayed on all four (4) sides of the vehicles, in letters and numbers with a maximum five (5) digit sequence, that are no less than two and one-half (2.5) inches in height. Contractor shall not place any other information or logo on Contractor vehicles, unless approved in writing by County. Vehicles shall be clearly labeled to indicate the materials collected by that vehicle, specifically; “Solid Waste,” “Recyclables,” as directed by County.

Vehicle Identification. 5.12.1 A distinct identification number and company code, approved by Director shall be assigned to each vehicle used for collection activities. Said numbers and code shall be prominently displayed on the front, sides and rear of the appropriate vehicle and shall be at least eight (8) inches in height. Each vehicle shall also permanently display in a prominent place Franchisee's common name in the region served and telephone number. 5.12.2 Franchisee shall obtain and display on each vehicle the annual sticker issued by the County Health Officer/Environmental Health Services.

No rules, regulations or identification procedures shall be applicable to or enforceable against the Jurisdictions or their designated haulers unless approved in writing by the Jurisdictions, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, and the Company shall not deny or otherwise impede the delivery of Acceptable Waste by or on behalf of the Jurisdictions to the Facility for Processing.

Vehicle Identification. Every Collection vehicle used by Contractor for collecting and disposing of Solid Waste shall be designed and/or suitable for such purpose and shall comply with the provisions of all applicable laws, including this section. All such vehicles shall be kept painted on the exterior, shall be maintained in a good, safe and clean condition. There shall be displayed on each side of each vehicle the Contractor’s business name, telephone number, and the vehicle number in letters not less than four (4) nor more than twelve (12) inches in height. The LEA may suspend any collection vehicle from operating if the collection vehicle does not meet the health and safety requirements identified under the Vehicle Code, the Health and Safety Code, and this section. Contractor shall provide a list of Collection vehicles (including make, model, and identification number) utilized for its County Collection services to the County Contract Manager and the LEA on an annual basis. The Contractor shall provide vehicle information (make, model, and identification number) to the County Contract Manager and LEA within fourteen (14) days of acquiring a new vehicle.
