Direct Services. In-person interactions between school counselors or other educational staff associates assigned to implement comprehensive school counseling programs and students that help students improve achievement, attendance, and discipline.
Direct Services. Direct services are specific services performed by County departments for the Commission, which include the provision of goods. The Commission shall reimburse the County on a quarterly basis for all direct services. Services shall be billed to the Commission by County Departments on "fee for service" basis or other similar arrangements. Reimbursement shall be made by a direct payment from the Children and Families Trust Fund to County departments as approved by Commission staff. The "fee for service" rates used for the departments in this contract are those contained in the Fee Ordinance as approved by the Board of Supervisors, current actual Countywide Cost Allocation Plan (COWCAP) costs, actual cost according to the rates in effect at the time the service is provided, and/or the rates derived from the annual budgets. Those services not identified in this agreement, and requested by the Commission, shall be separately negotiated and reimbursed as a direct service. These services shall be incorporated into this contract via an amendment as set forth in Section 4.3. The sections below do not represent an exhaustive list of County departments that provide services; however, these listed departments have existing direct-service relationships with the Commission.
Direct Services. Screen all people seeking assistance for their energy needs, including electric, gas, oil, wood, propane, etc. Direct services include all payments made to, or on behalf of, eligible low-income households up to the maximum benefit determined
Direct Services a. Supervised Job Search: CONTRACTOR will keep verification records for any time spent in job search related activities (ES0167).
b. Job Readiness Activities: ▪ Assistance with supportive services (i.e. transportation and childcare) and other employment barriers (i.e. housing and DMV issues) ▪ Referrals for mental health, domestic abuse, and substance abuse services. ▪ Assistance with Parenting, Family Wellness, Anger Management, Money Management, Resume Preparation, etc. (other topics as listed in the curriculum).

Direct Services. SR or VPK Program educational services that an approved contracted provider delivers.
Direct Services. The County shall provide the District with the services of four (4) SRO’s who shall remain employees of the County, subject to County’s policies and procedures. The SRO’s range of roles and responsibilities shall include:
A. The provision of non-probationary commissioned Deputies.
B. The authority to investigate criminal conduct and acting swiftly and cooperatively when responding to major disruptions and flagrant criminal offenses at school including, but not limited to, behaviors such as: trespassing, the possession and use of weapons on campus, and the illegal sale and/or distribution of controlled substances.
C. Fostering educational programs and activities that will increase students' knowledge of and respect for the law and the function of law enforcement agencies.
D. Assisting schools in implementing effective research-based strategies to increase school safety.
E. Being aware of and able to utilize community service contacts that can be helpful in solving problems that arise in the school setting.
F. Serving as the primary contact as a coordinator with other law enforcement personnel.
G. Reviewing images of school bus stop-paddle violations on an overtime basis. The County shall provide the District with additional services in the form of data collection:
A. The SRO, the SRO Sergeant, the County and the District will work together to ensure the proper data collection and reporting of data regarding calls for law enforcement service and the outcome of each call.
B. The data will be disaggregated by school, by offense type, race, gender, age and students who have individualized education program or plan developed under Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
C. Data collection shall be maintained by the County and provided to the District on a monthly basis or upon request to the Director of Student Services or upon request by the District.

Direct Services. From time to time, Phoenix and the Marketing Agent may provide services to one another, including without limitation implementation and integration services and assistance, custom software and systems development, modification and enhancement, and customer support assistance. Such services shall be provided at *** for such services (the "Discounted Rate").
