  • CONSTRUCTION MANAGER’S RESPONSIBILITIES The Construction Manager’s Preconstruction Phase responsibilities are set forth in Sections 2.1 and 2.2. The Construction Manager’s Construction Phase responsibilities are set forth in Section 2.3. The Owner and Construction Manager may agree, in consultation with the Architect, for the Construction Phase to commence prior to completion of the Preconstruction Phase, in which case, both phases will proceed concurrently. The Construction Manager shall identify a representative authorized to act on behalf of the Construction Manager with respect to the Project.

  • Customer Responsibilities Customer shall:

The Owner shall designate in writing a project coordinator to act as OWNER's representative with respect to the services to be rendered under this Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Project Coordinator"). The Project Coordinator shall have authority to transmit instructions, receive information, interpret and define OWNER's policies and decisions with respect to CONTRACTOR's services for the Project. The Architect represents that it is properly licensed in the jurisdiction where the Project is located to provide the services required by this Agreement, or shall cause such services to be performed by appropriately licensed design professionals.
