University’s Responsibilities. The University reserves and retains its management rights and functions. Such rights, by way of illustration, include, but are not limited to:
A. Full and exclusive control of the management of the University, the supervision of all operations, the methods, processes, and means of performing any and all work, the control of the property and the composition, assignment, direction, and determination of the size of its working forces;
B. The right to change or introduce new or improved operations, methods, means or facilities;
C. The right to hire, schedule, promote, reassign, transfer, release, and lay off staff members;
D. The right to suspend, discipline, and discharge staff members for cause;
E. The right to establish rules and regulations which shall be published and issued to each staff member or posted on bulletin boards and it is understood that the rules include any illegal acts;
F. The right to subcontract such portions of the work which may be done by bargaining unit staff members as the University deems to be in its best interest; and to otherwise maintain an orderly, effective and efficient conduct of its affairs. In no case shall a regular staff member covered by this Agreement be laid off or take a reduction in pay as a result of outside contracting of the bargaining unit work. However, this provision does not apply to individuals laid off as a result of outside contracting of an operation as described below. In the event that the University is considering outside contracting of a University operation employing APSS bargaining unit member(s) (e.g. printing services, bookstore, Public Broadcasting, etc.), the University will call a special conference with the Alliance at least one (1) month prior to the official notice of the operation’s close-down. The University will make available all data and information upon which the close-down was based. The Alliance shall be given an opportunity to respond to any University proposal and such response will be given consideration by the University. In the event the University decides to go ahead with the operation’s close-down involving position(s) represented by the bargaining unit, then the Alliance and the individual(s) involved shall be given notice as follows: Less than 2 years of service - 1 month’s notice 2 years, but less than 5 years of service - 2 months’ notice 5 years, but less than 10 years of service - 3 months’ notice 10 or more years of service - 6 months’ notice The University may continue...
University’s Responsibilities. A. The University will advise the student(s) of their responsibility to:
1. Participate in all training required by the Learning Site.
2. Exhibit professional, ethical and appropriate behavior when at the Learning Site.
3. Complete all assigned tasks and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
4. Abide by the Learning Site’s rules and standards of conduct.
5. Maintain the confidentiality of the Learning Site’s proprietary information, records and information concerning its clients.
University’s Responsibilities. A. The University will advise the student(s) of their responsibility to:
1. Participate in all training required by the Learning Site.
2. Exhibit professional, ethical and appropriate behavior when at the Learning Site.
3. Complete all assigned tasks and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
4. Abide by the Learning Site’s rules and standards of conduct.
5. Maintain the confidentiality of the Learning Site’s proprietary information, records and information concerning its clients.
B. The University will advise student that neither the University nor the Learning Site assumes any financial responsibility in the event he/she is injured or becomes ill as a result of his/her participation a learning activity at the Learning Site.
C. Provide the student with general and professional liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence, $3,000,000 general aggregate. This insurance only applies if both parties have signed this Agreement.
University’s Responsibilities. A. The University will advise the student(s) of their responsibility to:
i. Participate in all training required by the Learning Site.
ii. Exhibit professional, ethical and appropriate behavior when at the Learning Site.
iii. Complete all assigned tasks and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
iv. Abide by the Learning Site’s rules and standards of conduct
v. Abide by the University of Kentucky Student Code of Conduct.
vi. Maintain the confidentiality of the Learning Site’s proprietary information, records and information concerning its clients.
B. The University (including its officers, agents, or employees) nor the Learning Site assume any financial responsibility in the event a student is injured or becomes ill as a result of his/her participation in a learning activity at the Learning Site.
C. University is an agency and instrumentality of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, is vested with sovereign immunity and is subject to the provisions of the Kentucky Claims Commission, KRS 49.010 et seq for the recovery of tort claims made against the University, its agents, officers or employees.
University’s Responsibilities. 3.1. Nondiscrimination. The University, in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, will not discriminate against You or others on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity, gender expression, age, religion, disability, political beliefs, or status as a veteran in any of its policies, practices or procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, admissions, employment, financial aid, and educational services.
University’s Responsibilities. A. University shall, upon request, be responsible for supplying information about University students assigned to the Program at LEA sites as may be lawfully required by LEA prior to the beginning dates of the students' Program assignments. This information includes, without implied limitation, name, biographical data, verification of tuberculosis clearance and information about the health care coverage or insurance of each University student sent to LEA. Any additional information regarding a student’s health status including information about specific communicable diseases shall be sent to LEA only as required by Law and in accordance with HIPPA Regulations.
B. University and University's students assigned to the Program at the LEA under this Agreement shall comply with all provisions of Education Code Section 45125.1, and all of LEA's procedures related to fingerprinting and criminal background checks prior to having any substantial contact with XXX pupils, including, without implied limitation, prior to coming onto LEA school grounds or having any contact with XXX's pupils in locations other than LEA school grounds. University shall conduct criminal background checks of all its students assigned to LEA, and shall certify that none of the University students who are required by Section 45125.1 of the Education Code to submit or have their fingerprints submitted to the Department of Justice and who may have contact with XXX pupils pursuant to this Agreement has been convicted of a serious or violent felony as defined in Section 45122.1 of the Education Code.
C. University shall provide LEA with a list of all students assigned to the Program at the LEA pursuant to this Agreement and designate to which school or LEA sites they will be assigned. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in, at XXX's sole discretion, termination of this Agreement.
D. University shall ensure that each University student that is assigned to LEA to engage in unpaid fieldwork experiences signs a Student's Statement of Responsibilities and Agreement to Hold Harmless, in the form set forth in Exhibit "B" attached hereto, prior to participating in the Program at the LEA.
E. University shall be solely responsible for any payroll taxes, withholdings, workers' compensation insurance, and any other insurance or benefits of any kind for University's employees and any other persons who provide services to LEA under this Agreement.

University’s Responsibilities. University agrees to:
6.1 Provide space and a limited number of tables and chairs in the residence hall lobby or other area specified by University for distribution of Organization’s materials to Attendees.
6.2 Provide check in services for Attendees, including blocking of sleeping rooms, mailboxes, and room keys, building access keycards/keys, and (if purchased from University of Minnesota Dining Services) meal service access added to building access keycards.
6.3 Assist Organization in preparing any required safety orientation for minor Attendees.
6.4 Operate an Information Desk and provide University’s customary professional residence hall management services.
6.5 Provide maintenance and operational services in accordance with its routine schedule for the building of which the Leased Premises are a part.
6.6 Provide linens and housekeeping service as stated in the Synopsis.
University’s Responsibilities. 1. The University will advise the student(s) of their responsibility to:
a. Participate in all training required by the Learning Site.
b. Exhibit professional, ethical and appropriate behavior when at the Learning Site.
c. Complete all assigned tasks and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
d. Abide by the Learning Site’s rules and standards of conduct.
e. Maintain the confidentiality of the Learning Site’s proprietary information, records and information concerning its clients.
2. The University shall maintain fieldwork eligibility records of each candidate in practice teaching, school psychology, professional counseling, school counseling, and rehabilitation counseling fieldwork and administrative practice.
3. The University shall maintain eligibility records for each credential student candidate. This includes but is not limited to the Certificate of Clearance issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, proof of Tuberculosis clearance, all required test scores and proof of subject matter competency to verify eligibility for fieldwork experiences according to the requirements for each credential program.
4. The University will inform students in practice teaching that they are not (1) Learning Site employees for any purpose; (2) entitled to wages or employee benefits for the time spent at the Learning Site in practice teaching.
5. The University shall take all necessary steps to ensure that any student presented to the Learning Site for affiliation through this Agreement is currently enrolled at the University.
6. The University shall provide District Resident Teachers/Mentors a minimum of 10 hours of initial orientation to the program curriculum, about effective supervision approaches and instructional practices. The University ensures that District Resident Teachers remain current in the knowledge and skills for candidate supervision and program expectations.
University’s Responsibilities. A. Designate the students enrolled in the qualifying courses of the University to be assigned to the Learning Site, subject to the approval of the Learning Site.
B. Agree that the students shall be subject to requirements and restrictions specified jointly by the representatives of the University and the Learning Site.
C. Award academic credit to students who complete the requirements of the Service-Learning or Internship program if applicable.
D. Upon written request by the Learning Site, and mutual agreement between both parties, the University will withdraw any student who fails to observe the regulations of the Learning Site.
E. Advise student that neither the University nor the Learning Site assumes any financial responsibility in the event he/she is injured or becomes ill as a result of his/her participation in a learning activity at the Learning Site.
F. Advise students of their responsibilities per Section III of this Agreement.
University’s Responsibilities. The University shall provide the following, save that it will not be liable for any failure to provide these services and facilities if this failure is due to reasons outside its control: Adequate furniture and fittings.
