The 'Visibility and communication' clause establishes requirements for how parties must keep each other informed and maintain open channels of communication throughout the duration of their agreement. This typically involves specifying the types of information that must be shared, the frequency of updates, and the methods or platforms to be used for communication, such as regular status reports or designated points of contact. By setting these expectations, the clause helps prevent misunderstandings, ensures transparency, and facilitates timely resolution of issues, ultimately supporting effective collaboration and project success.
Visibility and communication. The Lead Partner and the Partners shall acknowledge financial support from the European Union by using the visual identity provided by the MA for the programme, on all information and communication materials created for the project. Furthermore, the Lead Partner and the Partners shall implement the appropriate transperancy and communication actions foreseen by Regulation no 1059/2021, corresponding to the Union contribution. Each Lead Partner/Partner shall acknowledge the support from the Programme by: providing on the Lead Partner / Partner’s official website or social media sites, where such sites exist, a short description of the operation, proportionate to the level of support provided by the Programme, including its aims and results, and highlighting the financial support from the Programme; providing a statement highlighting the support from the Programme in a visible manner on documents and communication material relating to the implementation of the operation, intended for the general public or for participants; organize a communication activity, at project level, to publicize the launching and the closure of the operation, including a short description of the project, its aims and results, and the EU support. This may be a media information material, a conference etc., which will be promoted on the online channels of the project partners. keep a record of the investment for promotion purposes, in the form of video materials (at least 10 qualitative photos and/or 2 short videos etc.) at the project location, where physical implementation or purchase of equipment is involved, at different stages of implementation. Where events are being organized (other than those dedicated to project team meetings), such video materials will also be prepared, in order to be used for project promotion; displaying durable plaques or billboards clearly visible to the public, presenting the flag of the EU in accordance with the technical characteristics laid down in Annex IX of Regulation EU/2021/1060, as soon as the physical implementation of an operation involving physical investment or the purchase of equipment starts or purchased equipment is installed; for Interreg operations not falling under para e), publicly display at least one poster of a minimum size A3 or equivalent electronic display with information about the Interreg operation highlighting the support from an Interreg fund.
Visibility and communication. (1) Activities to make available, and publicise, in [IPA II beneficiary] information about assistance under the IPARD II programme as referred to in Article 24 of the FWA shall be implemented based on a plan of visibility and communication activities to be agreed between the Managing Authority and the Commission. This plan of visibility and communication activities shall be approved by the IPARD II monitoring committee, no later than one year after the adoption by the Commission of the IPARD II programme, and shall set out:
(a) the aims and target groups;
(b) the content and strategy of the communication and information measures, stating the measures to be taken;
(c) its indicative budget;
(d) the administrative departments or bodies responsible for implementation;
(e) the criteria to be used to evaluate the impact of the information and publicity measures in terms of transparency, awareness of the IPARD II programmes and the role played by the Union. This plan covering the whole period of the IPARD II programme shall be implemented by an annual list of actions.
(2) The amount allocated for information and publicity may be part of the technical assistance measure of the IPARD II programme.
(3) At the meetings of the IPARD II monitoring committee the chairperson shall report on progress in implementing the information and publicity activities and provide the Committee members with examples of such activities.
(4) When the implementation of this Article implies specific information and publicity activities at project level, such activities shall be the responsibility of the recipients of IPA II assistance and shall be funded from the amount allocated to the relevant project.
Visibility and communication. (1) The Commission and the IPA II beneficiary shall agree on a coherent plan of visibility and communication activities to make available, and actively publicise information about programmes and actions under IPA II assistance in Montenegro. The procedures for implementing such activities shall be specified in the Sectoral or Financing Agreements.
(2) In case of direct management, implementation of the activities referred to in paragraph 1 shall be the responsibility of the Commission with the assistance of the IPA II beneficiary.
(3) In case of indirect management by the IPA II beneficiary, and for cross-border cooperation programmes referred to in points (b) and (c) of Article 63(2), implementation of the activities referred to in paragraph 1 shall be the responsibility of the operating structure(s) of the IPA II beneficiary(ies).
(4) Visibility and communication activities shall demonstrate how the particular action contributes to the agreed programme objectives and the accession process and shall be aimed at strengthening general public awareness as well as support of actions financed and of the objectives pursued. The visibility and communication activities shall aim at highlighting to the relevant target audiences the added value and impact of the Union programmes and actions. Visibility activities shall also promote transparency and accountability on the use of funds.
(5) The IPA II beneficiary shall report on its visibility and communication activities to the IPA monitoring committee and the sectoral monitoring committees.
Visibility and communication. 3.1. UNRWA shall take all appropriate measures to publicize the fact that UNRWA has received funding from Flanders and give due credit to Flanders, including through the UNRWA donor ranking list, the UNRWA website, and appropriate publications.
3.2. Flanders in return will take all appropriate measures to communicate on the mission and realizations of UNRWA.
3.3. UNRWA accepts that Flanders publishes in any form and medium, including on its website, the name and address of UNRWA, the purpose of the contribution as well as the amount contributed.

(1) In accordance with Article 24(3) of the Framework Agreement, the IPA II beneficiary shall take the necessary measures to ensure the visibility of EU funding for the activities entrusted to it, and prepare a coherent plan of visibility and communication activities which should be submitted to the Commission for an agreement within 2 months after the entry into force of this Financing Agreement.
(2) These communication and visibility activities shall comply with the Communications and Visibility Manual for EU External Actions laid down and published by the Commission in force at the time of the activities.

The Borrower shall implement visibility and communication actions related to the implementation of the Program in accordance with the terms of the Visibility and Communication Guide, and acknowledges having fully read and understood the aforementioned guide. According to the Visibility and Communication Guide, the Program is subject to communication and visibility obligations of Level 1.
