Common use of Visit to place of business Clause in Contracts

Visit to place of business. A union representative may, with the employer’s official representative, discuss and settle any matters of interest pertaining to the collective agreement or health and safety and any other matters of interest to the employees he represents who are in the service of the employer. He may demand that the employer allow him to examine any document concerning the members that he represents and obtain a copy of such when he considers it necessary, by appointment made at least 2 hours prior with the employer, his representative or agent, at the place of business of the employer or at any other location that they agree upon.
