W A G E S DUE. If an Employer discharges an em­ ployee, or if an employee quits, the total wages earned and unpaid at the time of such termination of employ­ ment are due and payable within seventy-two (72) hours. When an Employer willfully fails to pay the total wages due his employee within the said seventy-two (72) hours, the wages of such employee shall continue as a penalty from the due date thereof at the same rate until paid but not to exceed thirty (30) days. The parties intend this paragraph to be a restatement of the provisions of the Labor Code of California and to be interpreted therewith.
