Common use of Waiver of Homestead Clause in Contracts

Waiver of Homestead. Tenant hereby waives and renounces all homestead or exemption rights which Tenant may have under or by virtue of the Constitutions and Laws of the United States, the State of Georgia, and any other state as against any debt or sum Tenant may owe Landlord under this Lease and hereby transfers, conveys, and assigns to Landlord all homestead or exemption rights which may be set apart in any bankruptcy proceeding, to pay any debt or sum owing by Tenant to Landlord hereunder.
