WARRANTY OF LEGAL CAPACITY AND CONDITION OF UNIT. 1. The Landlord warrants (1) the Unit is in decent, safe, and sanitary condition as defined in 24 CFR 982.401 and that the Landlord has the legal right to lease the Unit covered by this Contract during the term of the lease. 2. The Landlord certifies, by entering into this Contract, that neither it nor its principals are presently debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible, or voluntarily excluded from entering into this Contract by any Federal department or agency or any agency or political subdivision of the State of Indiana. 3. The party, if any, executing this Contract on behalf of the Landlord hereby warrants that authorization has been given by the Landlord to execute it on behalf of the Landlord.
