Washington Representation. It is understood that following his retirement from Belo, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ intends to relocate to Washington, D.C. and become associated with a law firm in that city. For the period from October 1, 2002 through October 1, 2007 (the "Retention Period"), ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall be available to (1) provide legal representation with respect to the business and affairs of Belo and its subsidiaries and affiliates and (2) act as an executive coach for participants in Belo's Executive Development Initiative as may be reasonably requested from time to time by the CEO.
