Common use of Watchman Clause in Contracts

Watchman. The master of a vessel the tonnage of which β€” (a) exceeds 150 tonnes shall cause a watchman to be kept on duty on the deck of the vessel; or (b) does not exceed 150 tonnes shall cause at least one person to be on board, whilst the vessel occupies a berth.
