Common use of Wire Unbundled DS1 Digital Loop Clause in Contracts

Wire Unbundled DS1 Digital Loop. 2.3.6.1 This is a designed 4-wire Loop that is provisioned according to industry standards for DS1 or Primary Rate ISDN services and will come standard with a test point, OC, and a DLR. A DS1 Loop may be provisioned over a variety of loop transmission technologies including copper, HDSL-based technology or fiber optic transport systems. It will include a 4-wire DS1 Network Interface at the customer’s location. For the state of Louisiana, DS1 Loops include 2-wire and 4-wire HDSL-Compatible Loops to which the necessary electronics have been added to provide service speeds of 1.544 megabytes per second. 2.3.6.2 AT&T shall not provide more than ten (10) unbundled DS1 Loops to Syniverse at any single building in which DS1 Loops are available as unbundled Loops.
