With Full Salary. On recommendation of the Director, the Board may grant a member of the staff a leave of absence from regular duties for stated periods of time for special or compassionate reasons justifying a longer leave than that provided for in the Sick Leave/STLDP for elementary School Teachers, sub-paragraph L9.01.7. The length of such leave, if approved, shall be determined by the particular circumstances for which the leave is granted, and it shall be the responsibility of the teacher to provide the Board with necessary information in support of the request. Approval or denial of such leave is in the sole discretion of the Board.
