Common use of Withholding of Payment by Village Clause in Contracts

Withholding of Payment by Village. The Village may withhold from any payment, whether or not previously approved, or may recover from the Consultant, any and all costs, including attorneys’ fees and administrative expenses, incurred by the Village as the result of any Event of Default by the Consultant or as a result of reasonable actions taken by the Village in response to any Event of Default by the Consultant.
